Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to contracts for the plan dossier (Planungsmappe) that you conclude on elterngeldgenau.de with [[IMPRESSUM_NAME]], [[IMPRESSUM_ADDRESS]] (“we”).

2. What is free and what you buy

The calculator, the split-plan search, the tax-class deadline, the month-by-month breakdown, the derivation of every figure and everything else the calculator shows on screen are free and need no contract.

What you buy is a file: the plan dossier, a PDF created on your device from the plan you built in the calculator. It contains the plan on one page, for married couples a tax-class page, the working, a transfer sheet for mein-elterngeldantrag.de, checklists and deadlines, a calendar file, a pre-filled letter giving notice of parental leave and, for a paper application, the filled-in official application form. The transfer sheet and the application form are available only for the federal states listed on the federal states page.

3. What we do not do

This offering does not constitute legal advice or a regulated legal service under §2 of the Legal Services Act. The calculation is performed automatically from your inputs. No legal review of your individual case takes place.

You make the application, sign it and submit it yourself. The same applies to the parental-leave letter. We submit nothing on your behalf and do not act as your representative. We do not assess decisions of the parental allowance office and we do not write objections.

The file is produced from your entries. You are responsible for their accuracy and completeness.

4. Conclusion of the contract

The contract is concluded when you send your order with the button „zahlungspflichtig bestellen“ (German for “submit order with obligation to pay”). We then send you the contract details and these terms by email.

5. Price and payment

The price is €14.90, once. This is the final price; there are no further costs. No VAT is charged (small-business rule, § 19 UStG). There is no subscription and nothing renews. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay; the payment methods are shown to you before you order.

6. Delivery

After payment, the file is created on your device and is available to download. You also receive a confirmation by email.

As digital content, the plan dossier is covered by the statutory warranty rights (§§ 327 ff. BGB).

7. Right of withdrawal

You have a statutory right of withdrawal. The details are in the withdrawal policy. You can declare your withdrawal to us by email or by post; how to do that is on Withdraw from contract.

8. Updates

The calculation follows the Federal Parental Allowance Act and the finance ministry's wage-tax program in the version stated. Scope and duration of our obligation to provide updates (§327f BGB): [[UPDATE_OBLIGATION_SCOPE]]
