Partnerschaftsbonus: up to four more ElterngeldPlus months, if you keep to these rules
Each of you gets up to four extra months of ElterngeldPlus (at most half the Basiselterngeld a month) if you both work 24 to 32 hours a week at the same time, in the same two to four consecutive months of the child's life (§ 4b BEEG). If either of you falls outside that, the money can be reclaimed.
